There’s just something about black and white photos. I love old barns. There was a time when I wanted to travel and take photographs of barns and publish them in a book.

In my part of the country the old barns are disappearing and being replaced by steel buildings or subdivisions.

I’ve been told to try and save my 120 year old barn but it’s in bad shape and leans. Really should be torn down . I can’t afford a barn raising unless I can find some Amish who will do it for free. The barn wood probably wouldn’t be reusable except for a bon fire

Some of the old barns around here were torn down and sold off as craft materials. Seems some people will pay for weathered barn boards.
